20th November 2011: 4+2 Ensemble at the St Regis, John Jacob Ballroom

February 26, 2012

Jonathan and Yunjia’s wedding celebration at the St Regis Hotel was a particular memorable wedding luncheon. Not because it was held during one of the busiest days of the year (we had about 5 weddings on the same day), it was such a pleasure being of service to Jonathan and Yunjia, who happens to be an amazing couple to start with.

I was their Emcee for both the solemnization ceremony in May 2011 as well as the lunch on 20th November. Jonathan has to be one of the sweetest husbands because he did not just thank the relevant parties in his thank you speech, he secretly prepared gifts for his in-law as well as his parents.

I would think the most tear jerking, lips quivering moment came when he presented a Cartier ring to his lovely bride.

Truly, to be part of their wedding is a special time for me. As I have mentioned before, a wedding is never just an engagement, be it music entertainment or my emcee services. It is a relationship forged and I am very thankful for the opportunities to be on the same stage.
